The Friends of Weston’s Council on Aging is a non-profit organization that financially supports the programs and services offered by the Council on Aging for the Town of Weston, not covered by the Town budget.
Weston’s FCOA is an all-volunteer organization which raises funds through the generous donations of local businesses, townspeople and neighbors.
All funds are used to enhance and support the lives of the growing population of Weston older adults. A portion of the FCOA funding contributed to the new COA vehicle, a 2024, 6 passenger minivan that has a retractable ramp for easy access and can accommodate up to 2 wheelchair users. This vehicle is more economical to use than the 14-seat bus for the majority of the COA’s requested rides to appointments, for errands, social events and other requests.
